ST. LOUIS, Nov. 3, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- ACE employees in the Midwest recently raised money for Autism Speaks, in support of their colleagues who have children with autism. Together, ACE employees and customers raised $30,061 for this organization.
ACE's annual Give A Little Campaign is an in-store fundraiser that allows employees to choose the charity they want to support, and 100 percent of the proceeds go directly to the organization of their choice.
"We are incredibly proud of our accomplishments during this year's Give A Little Campaign," said Eric Norrington, Senior Vice President of Public Affairs. "This fundraiser allows us to partner with extraordinary organizations that our employees and customers are really passionate about."
In addition to the fundraiser, ACE employees in the Midwest held bake sales, raffled off gift certificates and engaged with other local businesses to further the community's involvement.
"ACE employees and executives have shown enormous commitment and creativity in raising awareness and funds," said Peter Morton, Autism Speaks Vice President of Corporate Development. "Their fundraising efforts help provide valuable resources, including community grants, scholarships, first-responder training and Autism Speaks Tool Kits for every stage of life."
The 2015 Give A Little Campaign raised $447,000 for charities across the nation and is a part of ACE's charitable-giving program, the ACE Community Fund. This charitable-giving program focuses on supporting organizations that help children, provide education and promote financial literacy in the communities where ACE has stores. Since its inception in 2004, the ACE Community Fund has donated more than $9.7 million to more than 50 charities.
