SHREVEPORT, La., Aug. 20, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Each year, ACE employees select charities across the nation to support during ACE's annual in-store fundraiser, the Give A Little Campaign. This year, employees throughout Louisiana, Oklahoma, Missouri and Kansas chose to support The Providence House, a nonprofit organization that aids the homeless.
Through a joint effort of ACE employees and customers, $37,307 was raised to further The Providence House's mission.
"We are so proud to support such an incredible organization," said Kelly Milligan, Regional Vice President of ACE. "Our employees and customers are passionate about giving back to the community and we are glad to make such a meaningful contribution."
Employees hosting the fundraiser held raffles, cake sales, car washes and reached out to local businesses to further engage the community.
"We are so appreciative of ACE Cash Express and its customers for the generous donation," said Suzanne Sims from The Providence House. "Their contribution will allow us to carry out our mission – to break the cycle of homelessness one family at a time!"
The 2015 Give A Little Campaign is providing more than $447,000 to charities across the country. This fundraiser is a part of ACE's charitable-giving program, the ACE Community Fund, which has donated more than $9.7 million to organizations throughout the nation since 2004.
