A Fertile Heart Free Chat with Belinda Anderson, PhD, LAc and Author, Julia Indichova
WOODSTOCK, N.Y., April 12, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- On Wednesday, April 19, at 8:00PM EDT Fertile Heart welcomes Dr. Belinda Anderson to the Fertile Heart Guest Teacher Series facilitated by author Julia Indichova.
Dr. Anderson will be examining Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) and endometriosis through the lens of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
Participants are welcome to register and submit questions for the teleconference through the events page of Fertile Heart http://www.fertileheart.com/events/
Polycystic Ovary Syndrome and endometriosis are common endocrine imbalances affecting millions of women worldwide. The conventional Western medical intervention usually involves the use of oral contraceptives (birth control pills) and medications that address insulin resistance & control hormone production. If the patient intends to become pregnant, the recommended medical protocol usually involves surgery and ovulation inducing fertility drugs along with IVF.
The April 19, Free Chat, will be an opportunity to explore a more whole person approach to PCOS and endometriosis, looking at root causes that might have triggered the symptoms and suggesting health enhancing solutions.
The topics for the chat:
- translating the symptoms of PCOS and endometriosis into the language of Chinese Medicine
- examining the ways in which acupuncture is addressing the root causes of PCOS and endometriosis
- the effectiveness and do's and don't's of specific Chinese herbal remedies.
- how women wrestling with PCOS and endometriosis can best use Chinese medicine and acupuncture to increase their chances of getting pregnant
- The parallels between the Fertile Heart OVUM Approach to PCOS and endometriosis, and the traditional Chinese medicine philosophy
