HILLSBOROUGH, N.C., Feb. 9, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Adamandeve.com (http://www.adamandeve.com/news), America's most trusted source for adult products, is curious when it comes to all things sex. This month, the company asked over 1,000 men and women if sexting has improved their relationships — and the overwhelming answer is yes!
While only 35% of Americans admit to sexting (sending sexually explicit photographs or messages via cell phone), over 56% of those who do say sexting has improved their relationships.
"Sexting can be a fun, flirty way to keep the passion alive," says Dr. Kat Van Kirk, resident sexpert for adamandeve.com. "Sexts are a great way to tease your partner... to pique his or her interest until lovers can be physically together. It's only when sexts get into the wrong hands or are misused that things go wrong."
"Adam & Eve encourages individuals and couples to enjoy their sexuality within their own comfort zones," says adamandeve.com Director of Marketing Chad Davis. "In addition to, or instead of, sexting, couples can find a wide variety of products to liven up any stage relationship at adamandeve.com."
The web-based survey, conducted by an independent third party survey company, of over 1,000 American adults age 18 and up, was sponsored by Adam & Eve to study sexual preferences and practices. "Sex Chat with Dr. Kat" can be found on podcasts through iTunes or www.drkat.com. Her new book, "The Married Sex Solution: A Realistic Guide to Saving Your Sex Life," can be found on Amazon.com.
