AdamAndEve.com Asks: How Do You Choose An Adult Movie?
HILLSBOROUGH, N.C., May 8, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- This month, AdamAndEve.com (http://www.adamandeve.com/news), America's most trusted source for adult products, asked over 1,000 adults what influences their choices when viewing or purchasing an adult movie. And their answers may surprise you!
Whether they're buying the latest big-budget adult DVD or watching free content online, adult viewers have their own criteria when it comes to their viewing habits. When AdamAndEve.com asked what influences the viewing of adult entertainment, 40% of the respondents (who could choose multiple answers) said the type of action was the largest influence, 25% said the storyline, 21% said the price, 20% said the adult star, 18% said the title, and 7% said the number of scenes.
Dr. Kat Van Kirk, resident sexpert for AdamAndEve.com, says, "It's interesting to note that even with the amount of free content online, adults are still purchasing movies based on storyline. What we are seeing is adult viewers who can pick and choose their content according to mood, taste and budget."
"Adam & Eve goes to great measures to make sure its adult content represents a healthy image of sexuality," says AdamAndEve.com Director of Marketing Chad Davis. "Whether our customers prefer to order a DVD through our catalog or website, or watch Adam & Eve's video-on-demand channel, they can rest assured the content is sex positive."
The web-based survey, conducted by an independent third party survey company, of over 1,000 American adults age 18 and up, was sponsored by Adam & Eve to study sexual preferences and practices. "Sex Chat with Dr. Kat" can be found on podcasts through iTunes or www.drkat.com. Her new book, "12 Minute Sex Solution: A Realistic Guide to Married Sex," can be found on Amazon.com.
