Adrenaline Adventures Launches Canada's Largest Cable Wakeboarding Facility
WINNIPEG, June 21, 2011 /PRNewswire/ - Adrenaline Adventures (http://www.adrenalinemb.com) is proud to introduce Winnipeg's greatest outdoor adventure park, featuring a world-class cable wakeboarding facility, a 5-storey tall ropes course with ziplines, a beach with volleyball courts, and a licensed clubhouse with waterside restaurant. Cable wakeboarding facilities will be open to the public beginning on July 1st. and the high-ropes course beginning June 25th.
The site features two wakeboarding lakes, including a smaller lake for beginners, and a 10-acre lake with the largest cable system in Canada. Up to nine wakeboarders can ride the systems simultaneously. The site has been designated as Canada's official training facility.
The 2-level ropes course is described as "the most comprehensive adventure structure ever conceived," by the course designer. It offers several climbing walls, challenges on each level, and three ziplines from the top of the structure.
On July 8-10 Adrenaline Adventures will be hosting the first stops on the Monster Energy Triple Crown and the WWA Wake Park World Series, plus the first ever Canadian Wake Park Nationals. Over 50 of the world's top wakeboarders will compete, the weekend will offer nighttime entertainment featuring Swollen Members, and the event will be televised by CBS Sports.
