CINCINNATI, Feb. 21, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Cincinnati-based AdvancePierre Foods announced today that Michael Sims will join the company as Chief Financial Officer.  Sims most recently spent more than two decades in a variety of accounting and finance roles with Chiquita Brands International, Inc., including the last two and a half years as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. 

According to AdvancePierre CEO Bill Toler, Sims brings the right combination of strong financial experience coupled with food industry background.
