AFCEA DC Announces Acquisition Panel For May 31st Luncheon
WASHINGTON, May 22, 2013 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association's DC Chapter (AFCEA DC), a non-profit association dedicated to providing our members with technical, policy, regulatory, program and budget information that directly shapes federal technology decisions in the Defense & Security arena, today announced it's Monthly Luncheon Series May Speaker Line-up.
The theme of May's Luncheon is, "Acquisition in Today's Austere Budget Environment." Today's changing budget landscape will force a level of innovation not only in the application of technology but around how the Intelligence Community (IC) acquires goods and services. Listen to the acquisition leadership of the IC and how they are approaching: cost savings initiatives, streamlining acquisition approaches, and transforming business practices to respond to these budget realities.
