Aggregate Industries US Receives Multiple Safety Awards
Illinois Association for Aggregate Producers Recognizes High Standards of Aggregate Industries' Safety Programs
DES PLAINES, Ill., June 13, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Aggregate Industries US (www.aggregate-us.com), a Holcim Group Company, announced today that several locations of Aggregate Industries US, Midwest Region (AIMWR) have been recognized by the Safety Awards Program of the Illinois Association for Aggregate Producers (IAAP). The awards were presented at a special morning session during IAAP's Annual Convention at the Springfield Crowne Plaza Hotel on May 15, 2012.
The IAAP Rock Solid Excellence in Safety Award, the highest award level, went to 11 locations: Portable AC2, Portable AC3, Portable NB1, Algonquin Pit 5, Battle Creek Plant, Chelsea Plant, Dyer Lake Pit 34, Edwardsburg / Milliken Plant, Otsego Shop, Pullman / Sweet Plant, Wayland Plant. Two more locations, Dundee Quarry and McHenry West Pit 26, received the IAAP Silver Award.
