SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., Jan. 18, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Agile Network, a Gold-Level member of Oracle® Partner Network (OPN), today announced its AgileShip Shipment Management System has achieved Oracle Validated Integration (OVI) with the Oracle E-Business Suite 12.1.
AgileShip provides a full-featured, validated shipping solution for Oracle E-Business Suite applications, including Order Management, Warehouse Management, E-Commerce, CRM, and ERP.
Designed to optimize fulfillment operations and reduce transportation spend, AgileShip automates the entire shipping process, from pack verification through weighing, rating, routing, labeling and execution. To optimize carrier selection and service levels, the solution is integrated with FedEx, UPS, DHL, and more than 5,000 North American and international carriers. To streamline operations, AgileShip is also integrated with a variety of shipping services, including TMS, 3PL, audit & payment, supply chain visibility, vendor compliance, export compliance and insurance. The solution includes a complete suite of management tools and reports to analyze carrier performance, optimize transportation planning, and reduce expenditures.
Agile Network's Oracle Validated Integration employs Oracle Fusion Middleware 11g to integrate AgileShip with the Oracle E-Business Suite. Scalable, service oriented architecture and redundant processing help ensure continuous operation across large enterprise deployments with multiple distribution centers. In single server benchmark testing, AgileShip is capable of handling a minimum of 60,000 shipments per hour.
To achieve Oracle Validated Integration, Oracle partners are required to meet a stringent set of requirements that are based on the needs and priorities of the customers. AgileShip Shipment Management System meets these needs with out-of-the-box functionality; complete data safety and security, and a fully customized interface. Built on Oracle Fusion Middleware 11g, AgileShip integrates with the Oracle e-Business Suite 12.1 to act as a plug and play. All events and activities across a service-oriented architecture are correlated, with applications interacting in harmony with one another.
"We are excited to have achieved Oracle Validated Integration with the Oracle E-Business Suite. This opens up many new opportunities for us to meet the needs of Oracle E-Business Suite users who want access to a full featured enterprise grade shipping solution," said Steve Cooper, Principal at Agile Network.
"Oracle Validated Integration applies a rigorous technical review and test process," said Kevin O'Brien, senior director, ISV and SaaS Strategy, Oracle.
