HIAWATHA, KS, Dec. 6, 2016 /PRNewswire/ - Satloc, a leading developer of advanced GPS guidance and flow control products for aerial application, and a division of AgJunction, Inc. (TSX:AJX), is releasing the IntelliFlow®2 application controller at the National Agricultural Aviation Association's (NAAA) annual convention. The NAAA is the world's largest trade show for agricultural aviation and will be held on December 5-8 in Long beach, CA.
IntelliFlow 2 replaces the current IntelliFlow® product that has served the agricultural aviation market for over 10 years as an accurate and reliable flow control system.
IntelliFlow 2 has a number of noticeable advancements, including a much smaller size and a more robust enclosure capable of better withstanding the harsh environment of an agricultural aircraft. An industry first, IntelliFlow 2 also has the ability to control both liquid and dry gate systems using a single electronic control unit, enabling pilots to switch between liquid and dry application with the press of a button.
"A single controller that is fully integrated with the Satloc G4, for both liquid and dry application, alleviates the need for a secondary display in the cockpit," said John Lueger, director of air business for AgJunction. "Our goal is to simply enable the pilot to focus more on what is going on outside the cockpit."
Additional IntelliFlow 2 features include an option to interface with a transducer to show boom pressure on the G4 display and the ability for the pilot to increase or decrease the rate in small increments, which can then be set for the remaining portion of the field.
IntelliFlow 2 will be showcased this week in the Satloc booth #947 and will soon be available through the Satloc dealer channel available here: www.Satloc.com.
