Aio Wireless' '30 Days, 30 Dreams' Program Invests More Than $100,000 in Scholarships & Technology for Students

ALPHARETTA, Ga., Oct. 23, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Transitioning to college will be a little bit easier this year for 30 students in Atlanta, Los Angeles, and Dallas with a $1,000 college scholarship from Aio Wireless and a tablet.

It's all part of Aio's "30 Days, 30 Dreams," a program designed to reinvigorate nonprofit programs that create opportunities for future leaders in the communities it serves.  After launching the program in Houston and Orlando earlier this year, Aio is expanding the program to Atlanta, Los Angeles, and Dallas.

In Atlanta, Aio collaborated with three community-based organizations to identify the 30 local scholarship recipients: 100 Black Men of Atlanta (North and South metro councils); the Latin American Association; and Girl Scouts of Greater Atlanta. The Atlanta students were honored last night at an event and presented with the scholarships and tablets.

The next two celebrations are scheduled for November 12 in Los Angeles and December 3 in Dallas.

After each event, Aio will continue to celebrate, encourage and inspire achievement for 30 days by highlighting the dreams and aspirations of the scholarship recipients on its Community Blog, Instagram and Facebook pages.
