Air Force Sergeants Association (AFSA) Director Elected Co-Chair of The Military Coalition (TMC)
SUITLAND, Md., Nov. 7, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Morgan Brown of the Air Force Sergeants Association (AFSA) was elected as Co-Chair of The Military Coalition (TMC) at its monthly meeting Nov. 5. Brown joins Mike Hayden of the Military Officers Association of America (MOAA) to chair the TMC, which comprises more than 30 military and veterans' organization that have tied together their individual membership bases to create an even stronger voice representing service men and women, veterans and their families.
In his new role, Brown will use his 13 years of experience in Veteran Service Organizations to continue TMC's mission. Brown advocates on behalf of the military and veteran community as part of AFSA's Military and Government Relations team.
TMC was founded in 1985 and today, the Coalition represents the interests of more than 5.5 million members. By working together on issues of mutual agreement, the participating organizations harness the grassroots support across their memberships and accomplish far more than by working initiatives separately.
