AK Steel Announces Price Increase For Hot Roll Carbon Steel
WEST CHESTER, Ohio, April 7, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- AK Steel (NYSE: AKS) said today that it will increase the current spot market base price for its hot roll carbon steel to a minimum of $700 per ton, effective immediately with new orders.
AK Steel produces flat-rolled carbon, stainless and electrical steels, primarily for automotive, infrastructure and manufacturing, construction and electrical power generation and distribution markets.
