Public On-Sale Begins August 17th
LOS ANGELES, Aug. 13, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Multi-platinum, Grammy winning artist Alanis Morissette has announced her first North American tour dates in support of her highly anticipated new studio album, HAVOC AND BRIGHT LIGHTS, out August 28th (Collective Sounds/Sony RED). Produced by Joe Chiccarelli and Guy Sigsworth, HAVOC AND BRIGHT LIGHTS showcases Morissette at the top of her game lyrically and musically.
The Guardian Angel Tour 2012 kicks off on August 25th in Montclair, NJ and will showcase songs off her forthcoming album, including the current hit "Guardian", as well as classics from her acclaimed previous releases. Tickets for the general public will go on sale Friday, August 17th and Saturday, August 18th at Ticketmaster.com starting at 10:00am local time.
"The songs from the last 17 years are blending together like great friends. Thankfully, there is a timelessness in their content and passion, for me! The show covers the gamut of every chord choice and every emotion I have ever felt. I am spent afterwards, happily so. I am thrilled to be able to play and tour with my family, blending my personal and artistic fulfillment into one sweaty, feisty, expressed, communal traveling circus!" says Morissette. "I look forward to connecting with everyone face to face, as well as through the many social networks of this exciting new climate."
