Alaska Air Group Names New Vice President of Human Resources
SEATTLE , Oct. 3, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Tammy Young has joined Alaska Air Group as vice president of human resources. Young will oversee employee benefits, compensation, training and development, recruitment, workers compensation and the employee travel services department at Alaska Airlines and Horizon Air.

Prior to joining Alaska, Young served as managing director of human resources at Moss Adams LLP, a Seattle-based national accounting firm with 20 offices. Young was also director of human resources at both KPMG LLP and Arthur Andersen LLP.

Young earned a bachelor's degree in accounting and finance from the University of Wisconsin. A resident of Seattle, she serves on the boards of the Boys and Girls Clubs of King County and the Washington Athletic Club.
