Albemarle to increase the price of ETHANOX® 4716 antioxidant

BATON ROUGE, La., Feb. 28, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Albemarle Corporation (NYSE: ALB), a leading developer and manufacturer of antioxidants for lubricants, petroleum and biodiesel fuels, announced today that it will increase the price of ETHANOX 4716 on all shipments globally by $0.25/kg effective immediately, or as contracts allow.

ETHANOX antioxidants enhance the stability, improve the performance and extend the storage life of lubricants and fuels used worldwide. Albemarle's antioxidants business is part of the Company's Polymer Solutions business segment.
