ALDI Expands Coffee Offerings with New, Exclusive Brand Single Serve Coffee Cups
Available only at ALDI, Beaumont Coffee Cups are Compatible with most Keurig Coffee Makers
BATAVIA, Ill., Oct. 7, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- ALDI, the nation's low price grocery leader*, introduces a new, exclusive brand line of single serve coffee cups from Beaumont Coffee. The Beaumont single serve coffee cups will be available in all ALDI store locations beginning this fall in a variety of flavors like Breakfast Blend, Dark Roast, Hazelnut, French Vanilla and Fair Trade Columbian. At $5.79 for a 12-count box, coffee at home just got more affordable. The coffee cups work with Keurig Coffee Makers, except Vue.
Making your own coffee at home obviously saves money, but smart shoppers have also found that where they buy coffee makes a big difference, too. In fact, based on a price comparison of similar products sold at leading national retail grocery stores, switching from national brands to ALDI exclusive brands can save shoppers up to 50 percent** on more than 1,400 of the most commonly purchased grocery items, including coffee cups.
"At ALDI, our focus is on delivering the highest quality products at the lowest possible prices," said Chuck Youngstrom, president, ALDI. "With increased consumer interest in single serve coffee cups, we first began offering the product for a limited time, then in a handful of states. Now, we're able to offer the more than 25 million customers who shop our stores each month a convenient coffee option at ALDI everyday low prices."
Making the perfect cup of coffee in less than a minute, single serve coffee cups offer gourmet tastes with the convenience and ease of effortless brewing. While producing one serving at a time requires more patience, single serve coffee cups provide ongoing savings and reduced waste over time by brewing only what is needed.
In addition to the Beaumont Coffee Cups, ALDI offers a variety of traditional coffee available at everyday low prices, including its new Beaumont Fair Trade Certified Coffee, Donut Store Blend and Specially Selected Premium Roasted Ground Coffee.
To ensure its exclusive brands – including Beaumont Coffee Cups – meet or exceed the national brands on taste and quality, ALDI conducts rigorous testing on all products. ALDI stands behind this commitment to quality with a Double Guarantee: If for any reason a customer is not 100 percent satisfied with a food product, ALDI will gladly replace the product and refund the customer's money.
ALDI has been recognized as the nation's low-price grocery leader for three consecutive years, according to more than 6,000 consumer surveys collected by Market Force Information, Inc. in May 2013, the world's leading customer intelligence solutions company. When asked to rank the top eight grocers offering low prices, consumers ranked ALDI No. 1, ahead of competitors such as Walmart, Costco, Publix, Kroger, Safeway and ShopRite.
Over the last several years, ALDI has added, on average, 80 new stores each year, expanding the ability to bring grocery savings to more people every day. ALDI now has more than 1,200 US stores located in 32 states, serving more than 25 million customers each month.
