SAN DIEGO, Sept. 7, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Actor and comedian Mark Christopher Lawrence, who played Big Mike in the NBC hit Chuck, will bring big laughs to The Salvation Army Kroc Center on Monday, September 18 for their first ever "Clean Comedy Night."
The one-and-a-half-hour performance is a special event for Celebrate Recovery, a weekly meeting to address issues related to chemical dependency. Attendees will also include clients from The Salvation Army's Adult Rehabilitation Center in downtown San Diego.
"I'm really excited to be appearing in Clean Comedy Night," said Lawrence, who has shared the stage with the likes of Sinbad, Jerry Seinfeld and Rodney Dangerfield. "This will be a great show with some outstanding fellow comics, and especially for a group celebrating their sobriety."
The performance is hosted by local comedian Dustin Nickerson and will feature the winner of 2017 San Diego's Funniest Person, James Schrader. The evening is sure to bring laughter, relief and support to attendees.
