NEW YORK, Feb. 12, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Alleghany Corporation (N YSE: Y) announced today that Weston M. Hicks, its President and chief executive officer, will present at the Bank of America Merrill Lynch 2013 Insurance Conference on February 14, 2013.  The presentation is expected to begin at approximately 1:45 p.m. Eastern Time.  The presentation will include an overview of Alleghany's businesses, a discussion of its financial condition as of the end of fiscal 2012 and its outlook going forward.
