NEW YORK, Sept. 11, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Alley powered by Verizon will open two new innovation hubs in Palo Alto and Los Angeles, marking the next phase of its business that will fuel local innovation and entrepreneurship on the West Coast.
The two locations are key parts of Alley powered by Verizon's plans to support entrepreneurs and startup companies working on technologies of tomorrow by providing them access to established Verizon technology and resources. Verizon is providing members exclusive access to 5G networks and the opportunity to participate in partner trial programs.
"Alley does an amazing job connecting with the energy of the startup community. The environments we've built together have been an important conduit for partnership and collaboration for Verizon, especially around our 5G strategy," said Nick LiVigne, Verizon's Global Coworking Lead.
Earlier this month, Alley, a membership community for creators, announced the expansion of their offerings and its growth into an enhanced full-service platform for businesses. The platform has been custom built for the new economy, offering a variety of a la carte business services, including event planning and production, recruiting, marketing, design and development, and workspaces in multiple cities.
Verizon and Alley have successfully built four innovation hubs in New York, Cambridge, and Washington, and will expand their partnership in building diverse communities in each of the West Coast locations. There, Alley powered by Verizon will focus on emerging technology companies, providing them with the technology and services they need for growth.
"Together we've created a full-service platform that addresses the demands of the new economy, for businesses large and small alike," says CEO of Alley, Jason Saltzman. "Expanding Alley's community to the West Coast will boost innovation within the startup ecosystem and the partnership will provide members access to corporate resources otherwise unavailable to small businesses."
The launch of Alley's services and the new West Coast 5G innovation hubs signals Alley powered by Verizon's evolution into a membership community untethered from just physical workspace.
