ATLANTA, Sept. 23, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- AlphaPoint Technology, Inc., (APPO.OB) a leading developer of Data Center Management Software solutions for global enterprises, announced today that together with its Go-To-Market partner, Peniel Solutions (PSL) have accepted an invitation from the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Chief Technology Office-Technology Office 1 Division (CTO-TO1), to present a technical demonstration and brief of its AssetCentral™ application capability, during the Cloud Computing Technical Exchange Meeting (TEM) on Friday, October 4, 2013. The Cloud Computing TEM evolved from the Department of Defense (DoD)'s Chief Information Office (CIO), Cloud Strategy and Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), CTO-T01's desire to exchange information on cloud technical capabilities and solutions with commercial and DoD cloud providers.

The Cloud Computing TEM participants include representatives from OSD, DoD Services, Air Force, Army, Navy, Marine Corps and Agencies:  DoD CIO, DISA, and Communications Electronic Command (CECOM), Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA), Defense Media Agency (DMA), Joint Program Executive Office for Chemical and Biological Defense (JPEO-CBD), White House Communications Agency (WHCA), Defense Commissary Agency (DECA) and National Security Agency (NSA).

The opportunity to present to the DoD TEM gives AlphaPoint agency wide DoD exposure. AlphaPoint will present their Cloud based technology and capability in a forum that supports all key DoD and Federal mandates. Attendees of this forum are constantly on the lookout for thought leadership and streamline solution-sets that will support a particular mandate(s) or challenge area. Based on AlphaPoint's AssetCentral™ capability, the following mandate requirements are a possible match, the Federal Data Center Consolidation Initiative (FDCCI), Army Data Center Consolidation Program, The Navy Data Center Consolidation Program, the Air Force Data Center Consolidation Program (NDCCP) and other Civilian Agencies that have asset tracking and consolidation requirements.
