Al's Angels Launches Angel-ade Lemonade Stand Initiative Throughout Tri-State Area to Help Children in Desperate Need
Tri-state area non-profit charitable organization partners with hundreds of volunteers and retailers on June 6th to open lemonade stands throughout Fairfield County and Tri-State area
WESTPORT, Conn., May 21, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Al's Angels, a non-profit charitable organization founded by Westport, CT resident and digital marketing industry executive Al DiGuido, announced today the launch of its first annual Al's Angels "Angel-ade" initiative.
As part of the initiative, more than 100 lemonade stands will be opening throughout Fairfield County on June 6th to raise donations and awareness for Al's Angels throughout the community. Lemonade products are being donated by Newman's Own.
In addition to lemonade, dozens of national retailers and local merchants will be donating products or retail space at each of the "Angel-ade" stands. These retailers include Anthony's Nursery and Garden Center, Bottlerocket Wine and Spirit, Calypso, Castle Wine, Chelsea Piers, Coffee An', Dance Collective, Downunder, Edge Fitness Clubs Norwalk and Fairfield, Fetzer Tire, Freshii, Fringe, Garelick and Herb, Groove, JoyRide, Saugatuck Rowing Club, Saugatuck Sweets, Shelala, SONO Baking Co., SoulCycle, Splatterbox, Stiles Market, Vespa/Bartaco, Viva Zapata, Westport Hardware, Westport Wash and Wax, and the Westport/Weston Y.
Details for Al's Angels "Angel-ade" initiative are as follows:
- What: First Annual Al's Angels "Angel-ade" initiative.
- When: Saturday, June 6th from 11 AM to 4 PM.
- Where: Over 100 lemonade stands in front of participating retail stores and throughout area neighborhoods across Fairfield County.
Just like all other Al's Angels initiatives, 100 percent of all proceeds from the "Angel-ade" stands will go directly to providing Al's Angels with the funds required to provide thousands of children and families with holiday meals and gifts this year.
