This sequel to last year's indoor/outdoor mega-hit features the same rain/dirt/shock-proof construction with an even richer sonic experience, a curvy new design, mounting capabilities and up to 40 hours of continuous playback on a single charge. That's more than twice the battery life of the Life Jacket and longer than any competitive product without having to lower the volume to conserve power.

Like its predecessor, the BoomJacket boasts a heavy-duty, washable rubberized skin that is IP67-rated for its waterproof, dustproof and shock-resistant abilities. Drop it in the pool? Spill a drink on it? Leave it outside in the rain or overnight on the beach? Not to worry. It's floatable, submersible and impervious to indignities like dirt and sand so the music will play on – no matter what.

With dual 2.0" neodymium drivers, a passive radiator design, Altec Lansing DSP audio enhancement technology, aptX^® CD-quality wireless audio and a bigger power amp that lets every riff and groove roar even when there are no walls to bounce off of, the BoomJacket pumps out huge volume along with crisp, clear sound that doesn't miss a beat – whether your tastes run to Taylor Swift, Tupac, Tim McGraw or Talking Heads.
