Aluminum Association Elects Three New Board Members During Annual Spring Meeting

ARLINGTON, Va., April 22, 2013 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Today, the Aluminum Association announced the addition of three new members to its Board of Directors. The Board provides strategic guidance and direction to the Association in promoting the production and use of aluminum as the sustainable material of choice. The appointments were finalized during the Aluminum Association's annual spring meeting in South Carolina.

The Association elected Kelly Thomas, Senior Vice President and General Manager, North America Rolled Products at Aleris; Michelle O'Neill, Vice President of Government Affairs and Trade Policy for Alcoa; and Etienne Jacques, Chief Operating Officer for Rio Tinto Alcan Primary Metal North America, to the Board of Directors.

"Kelly, Michelle and Etienne are all at the top of their field and will provide critical insight and input as the Board guides Association efforts in telling the story of aluminum and its sustainability advantage," said Pat Franc, President and Chief Executive Officer of Tri-Arrows Aluminum and Chairman of the Association's Board of Directors.
