Ambassador Bolton's Endorsements Won Over 75% Of Their Races & Foreign Policy Was A Signature Issue In The 2014 Midterm Elections
Bolton PAC and SuperPAC raised over $7.5 million, ran successful I.E. campaigns in 14 states, and contributed to 87 GOP candidates nationwide
WASHINGTON, Nov. 5, 2014 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- For the 2014 elections the John Bolton PAC and SuperPAC announce over $7.5 million raised, 87 Republican candidates endorsed, more than $470,000 contributed to campaigns, and an innovative $5 million digital advertising campaign. Ambassador John Bolton started his PAC and SuperPAC to bring a focus to national security policy as a campaign issue, and identify candidates committed to defending America's values domestically and strategic interests abroad.
"Over the past year we have devoted all of our resources towards supporting candidates who believe in the exceptional and indispensable role that the United States must have in global affairs," Ambassador Bolton said. "In a time during which multiple regional conflicts have posed significant risks to our national interests, America needs decisive representation in Congress that is capable of steadfast and principled decision making. As a sign of my PACs' success, these elections delivered a mandate from the American people for more active and engaged American leadership abroad."
The John Bolton SuperPAC ran an extensive $5 million digital ad campaign that Bloomberg Politics called, "The Future of Political Advertising." To execute, a 'personality layer' was added on top of voter data sets, and voters were sorted into 100 personality types then arranged into 28 clusters. The SuperPAC delivered multiple versions of the same national security message to each cluster, either online or through Direct TV. This 14 state campaign included a robust effort in New Hampshire, North Carolina, Arkansas, Louisiana, Georgia, and Iowa. "Our ability to ensure national security policy was a primary focus in many of the races is due to the nationwide level of support in each of the 50 states," Bolton said. "Without it I could not have run such a comprehensive advertising campaign comprised of innovative and leading tactics that enabled us to provide a customized message to the right voter and get that individual to the polling booth."
For the 2014 elections the John Bolton PAC contributed more than $470,000 to 87 GOP candidates across the country who expressed a commitment to prioritize U.S. national security policy during the campaign and once in Washington:

"I'm sincerely thankful to each person who helped us in supporting candidates that believe in a strong and determined America," Bolton said. "But just because the midterm elections are over doesn't mean we can rest; in the months ahead the United States will have to respond to critical challenges that threaten the very institutions and global stability we have worked so hard to achieve over the past half century. I remain committed to devoting all possible PAC resources to ensuring national security remains a political and policy priority."
