Ambassador John Bolton Raises More Than $6.5 Million For Midterm Elections
Bolton has endorsed 76 Senate and House candidates committed to strong national security policies, and made PAC contributions totaling $415,000
WASHINGTON, Oct. 14, 2014 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Ambassador John Bolton's PAC and SuperPAC announces a combined amount of nearly $2.5 million raised in the 3rd quarter of 2014 and more than $6.5 million raised from September 2013 to date. The Ambassador is committed to ensuring that American national security concerns represent an integral part of the agenda for the 2014 midterm elections and that candidates who believe in policies that promote a proactive and secure America receive the support needed to win their respective U.S. House or Senate races.
"The United States is faced with alarming and significant challenges in critical theaters of conflict to which it must respond decisively in Syria, Iraq, Ukraine, West Africa, and beyond," Ambassador Bolton said. "Our national interests are now compromised as a result of strategy deficient leadership in Washington that has failed to promote adequate global stability. Now more than ever, it is imperative for the American people to seek out and support candidates for office who have the fortitude, leadership, and vision to secure America's leadership through policies at home and action overseas."
Over the past quarter, the John Bolton PAC and the John Bolton SuperPAC have generated strong grassroots support in each of the 50 states with over 19,000 separate donations. Moreover, 86% of all donations in the quarter were for less than $100, underscoring the depth and growing saliency of U.S. foreign policy concerns with hard working Americans. The Ambassador communicates through an expansive social media presence including to over 91,000 Facebook fans and more than 143,000 Twitter followers.
The John Bolton PAC has donated to more candidates these midterm elections than any other PAC focused on national security policies. Over the next three weeks Ambassador Bolton will continue to identify and contribute to candidates for elected office who prioritize strong national security policies and securing America's interests abroad.
"Given the increasingly destabilizing global factors America faces today, this upcoming election will be vitally important towards selecting individuals that possess the strategic will necessary to project American strength to both our closest allies and adversaries," Bolton said. "With more than $415,000 given so far and backing 76 candidates to date, I'm providing support and resources so the right candidates can best communicate their vision to constituents."
