AmCham China Business Center Launches Guide on Basics of Doing Business in China
BEIJING, Oct. 8, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- The American Chamber of Commerce in China today launched the latest section of its AmCham China Business Center website: a guide to the basics of doing business in China. The new section, called the Basics Handbook, offers those interested in doing business in China the essential information they'll need to set them on course for success.
"The AmCham China Business Center is an initiative launched this year aimed at helping those considering China, or who already have a presence but want to expand, to understand, plan and execute the next step," said AmCham China President Mark Duval. "The Basics Handbook is an ideal complement to the existing content on the Business Center site, much of it produced by the more-than-1,000 members of the American Chamber in China."
The site's newest section includes advice on:
- Assessing the Opportunities
- Choosing an Entry Strategy
- Establishing a Presence
- Logistics of Operating in China
- Marketing and Sales
- Handling Risks
Another new feature of the site, in addition to the research, news and sector analyses, is the Business Discount program, with AmCham China members offering fantastic discounts on their products and services.
"By building on the capabilities of our members, the AmCham China Business Center provides not only unbeatable decision-guiding information, but also great value for those using our members' services," said AmCham China's Business Support Services Senior Director John Zane. "We invite anyone considering doing business in China or expanding their operations here to visit us online or offline to experience what the chamber has to offer."
