American Airlines Assists Customers Affected by Weather in Northeast

 

FORT WORTH, Texas, Feb. 10, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Due to the anticipated winter weather impact on the Northeastern United States, American Airlines is offering customers the convenience to change their plans. Customers ticketed to travel on American Airlines, American Eagle or AmericanConnection flights to, from, or through the airports listed below may change flights as shown without penalty.

Customers traveling to/from/through the cities listed below on Feb. 11 and whose ticket was issued no later than Feb. 10, may begin travel as late as Feb.13 under this policy:

  • Boston (BOS)
  • Hartford, Conn. (BDL)
  • New York Kennedy (JFK)
  • New York LaGuardia (LGA)
  • Newark (EWR)
  • Philadelphia (PHL)
  • White Plains, N.Y. (HPN)

The ticket reissue charge will be waived for one ticket change. To change travel dates, contact American's Reservations at 1-800-433-7300 within the U.S. or Canada. Customers calling from outside the U.S. or Canada, please check American's Worldwide Reservations Numbers page on AA.com.
