American Express Invites Cardmembers to Sergi Arola's New Restaurant

On June 7^th 2012, American Express Platinum Cardmembers were invited to experience "Arola - Mumbai's Newest Dining Destination" an exclusive preview of the Spanish fine dining restaurant Arola.  The event was hosted in partnership with the J W Marriott, Mumbai.

At the event, CMs had an opportunity to be the very first to experience Mumbai's latest Spanish dining destination before its opening night and launch to general public. Arola is the stunning off shoot of two star Michelin Chef Sergi Arola . The evening began with a sparkling welcome over drinks and hors d'oeuvres at the lounge and Bar area, followed by sit down dinner which included an ostentatious mode of dining as many as 10 smaller dishes paired with wines.

The food at Arola has a very distinctive Spanish flavour, which was savoured by all of our guests. The restaurant's chef, Sergi Arola , has admitted that the cuisine is heavily influenced by his homeland of Catalonia, and this is reflected in exquisite dishes such as Crema Catalan.

Cardmembers enjoyed the exclusive experience within the restaurant's sleek dining room. For this particular event, we sold out completely and had a great turnout (with almost a 100% show rate). Without doubt, our invited credit card holders left this stunning setting more than satisfied.
