NEW YORK, Nov. 14, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- American Realty Capital Trust, Inc. ("ARCT" or the "Company") announced today its preliminary inclusion in the MSCI US REIT Index. According to MSCI, the MSCI US REIT Index broadly and fairly represents the equity REIT opportunity set with proper investability screens to ensure that the index is investable and replicable. The index reflects approximately 85% of the US REIT universe. As reported by MSCI, ARCT's inclusion in the MSCI US REIT Index will become effective on Monday, December 3, 2012.
