American singer Dylan Connor releases album of original songs for Syria
STRATFORD, Conn., Dec. 13, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Dylan Connor's new record Blood Like Fire (Songs for Syria) will be released worldwide in January 2014, via iTunes, Amazon etc. At this juncture, Connor is the ONLY American singer to write and record an album solely about Syria and the Syrian struggle.
Connor will be presenting CD release events in several major US cities: Boston, New York, Chicago, Los Angeles and San Francisco. All profits from album sales will go directly to the Karam Foundation: Karamfoundation.org. This humanitarian foundation, established in 2007, provides clothing and educational programs to displaced children in and around Syria. They are now in the process of collecting money to supply "winter kits" for children before the full onset of the freezing Syrian winter.
Connor has been invited to join a delegation from the Karam Foundation on its next mission to Jordan to deliver personally, the funds he has raised from album sales.
IMPORTANT: Connor will be performing songs from Blood Like Fire (Songs for Syria) at a Syria fundraising dinner called: Whatever it Takes: Getting Aid to Syria, in Lowell Mass on Saturday, Dec. 14. https://www.eventbrite.com/e/whatever-it-takes-getting-aid-to-syria-tickets-9097072589
