American Technology Services, Inc. Expands Microsoft Offerings & Security Services
ATS now authorized to meet security needs for government contractors by supplying Office365G and AOS-G.
FAIRFAX, Va., Aug. 22, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- American Technology Services, Inc. announces that it has attained authorization to supply Microsoft Office365-G and Azure for Government (AOS-G) under an expanded partner program. This authorization gives ATS the ability to service both government contractors and government agencies by deploying Microsoft's widely popular Office365 cloud services in a secure platform suitable for government contractors and government agencies. ATS is now also authorized to move government contractors into the more secure version of Microsoft Azure, popularly called Azure for Government (AOS-G).
While ATS has been a Microsoft partner for decades, this new authorization is reserved for Gold partners that have the capability to deploy clients in the more stringent environments for high security. Under this new agreement, ATS can provide government contractors and other government entities the ability to subscribe to Office 365 US Government plans, which can be licensed to a smaller staff-size than the required higher count plans under the Microsoft Enterprise Agreement (EA).
Alex Koludrovic, Vice President and CTO noted, "ATS manages IT for a number of smaller government contractors who need to be NIST 800-171 compliant, but do not have a large staff to justify an EA license. This new credential allows ATS to service the needs for our government contractors in the difficult to serve size range of 10 to 250 users. We can now provide them with O365 GCC licenses and place them in the Azure environment to meet their NIST 800-171 compliance needs."
This program also provides government clients easier access to Microsoft 365 through a simplified Online Services Agreement and enables the Microsoft Federal Account and Services teams to expand their abilities to deliver those Office 365 solutions with trusted partners. This status complements the designation as a Gold Microsoft Partner in the areas of Cloud Productivity and Cloud Platform and demonstrates ATS' commitment to helping government contractors and agencies achieve greater operational efficiencies.
