MIAMI, Nov. 14, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- The Apogee Awards, created by South Florida Business & Wealth (SFBW) Magazine to recognize distinguished leaders in the area, recently awarded Viviana Santisteban of Amerikooler the 2016 award for Best HR Executive in Dade County.

Santisteban, the Vice President of Human Resources at Amerikooler, has over 20 years of experience in the Human Resources field. During her time at Amerikooler, she has transformed the company's culture and recruiting strategy, with the goal of making the company one of the most desirable places to work in the South Florida area.

A member of the South Florida Hospitality HR Association for over 20 years, Santisteban served as a board member for 15 of those years. Additionally, she is an active member of the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM) and the Greater Miami SHRM chapter. She is a proud graduate of Hood College in Frederick, Maryland.
