Amilpar - Press Release - Right of First Refusal to Be Exercised for the Acquisition of Hospital Samaritano in Rio de Janeiro
RIO DE JANEIRO, Feb. 2, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Amil Participacoes S.A. (BM&FBovespa: AMIL3; Bloomberg: AMIL3 BZ e APAR < GO >; Reuters: AMIL3 SA), the largest healthcare company in Brazil, in accordance with CVM Instruction 358, of January 3, 2002, informs that in the Board of Directors meeting held yesterday, it was decided that Amilpar, through its indirect subsidiary ESHO - Empresa de Servicos Hospitalares S.A., will exercise the right of first refusal for the acquisition of Hospital Samaritano (Clinica Medico Cirurgica Botafogo S.A.). The conditions and values are the same described in the Press Release of December 13, 2010. The decision taken by the independent board member was ratified by the other members of the Board of Directors, with abstention of Mr. Edson de Godoy Bueno and Ms. Dulce Pugliese de Godoy Bueno.
