AN INTERNATIONAL MANUFACTURER OF STEEL TUBING OPENS A NEW PLANT IN NORTH CAROLINA
MONTREAL, Aug. 31 /PRNewswire/ - To meet the needs of a growing customer base in the United States, Solaris Industries, an international manufacturer of steel tubing, officially opened its plant in Kings Mountain, North Carolina today.
Solaris Industries leverages over 40 years of experience from its Canadian parent company, Delhi-Solac Inc., which is a well-established company and a leading manufacturer in the steel tubing industry in Canada. Solaris Industries specializes in leading edge mechanical and coated steel tubing. It plans to hire about 40-50 employees over the next two years. "The decision to establish ourselves in the United States, a promising market for us, was part of our long-term strategy and development plan. The choice to locate this plant in North Carolina was a strategic one. Next to a major highway, this new facility has ample space to expand and add additional manufacturing capacity to capture our fair share of the market", said the President and CEO of Solaris Industries, Denis Boulais.
Delhi-Solac has two plants in Canada and is renowned for its excellent client service and the high quality of its products. Over the last three years, it has doubled its market share in Canada and solidified its position in several of the markets that it serves. Delhi-Solac already has a number of clients in the United States, notably in such industries as fencing, horse stalls, garage doors, and others.
