CLEVELAND, Jan. 7 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Lincoln Electric Holdings, Inc. (Nasdaq: LECO) today announced the election of Anthony Battle as a Company Officer and Vice President, Internal Audit, with responsibility for Lincoln's worldwide audit process and staff.

Mr. Battle joined Lincoln as an Audit Manager in 2003 and was promoted to Director, Internal Audit, in 2004. Prior to joining Lincoln, he held a number of management-level positions with the former TRW, Inc. and had also served as Audit Manager with Owens Corning.

Mr. Battle earned a bachelor of science degree in accounting from John Carroll University and an Executive MBA from the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University. He is also a graduate of Lincoln's International Business Development Program in conjunction with the Thunderbird School of Global Management. Mr. Battle is a CPA and a member of The Ohio Society of CPAs.
