HONG KONG, March 22 /PRNewswire-Asia/ -- Anyplex, the only television video-on-demand (VOD) service for new film releases in Hong Kong, today announced that it has signed a content licensing deal with Sony Pictures Television (SPT).

Thanks to this new partnership, Hong Kong consumers will be able to rent the latest and classic Hollywood blockbusters distributed by SPT through Anyplex-embedded iDTV and set top boxes.

Titles included in the deal are some of Sony Pictures Television's latest blockbusters such as "2012", "Julie & Julia", "Michael Jackson's This is It", "Angels & Demons" as well as the Academy(R)Award nominated film "An Education"

Other blockbusters include "Kung Fu Hustle", "Spider-Man 2", "Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines", "Big Fish", "Men In Black II" and "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon".
