Anytime Fitness Appoints John Pindred As New CFO

HASTINGS, Minn., Nov. 6, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Anytime Fitness, LLC, the world's largest and fastest-growing co-ed fitness club franchisor, has appointed John Pindred as its new Chief Financial Officer. Pindred's primary responsibilities will include developing growth and expansion strategies for Anytime Fitness (www.anytimefitness.com), which currently has nearly 3,000 gyms operating within the Anytime Fitness system, located in 20 countries, and expects system-wide sales to exceed $1-billion dollars in 2015.

Pindred will also serve as CFO for Waxing the City Worldwide, LLC, (www.waxingthecity.com), a specialty waxing studio partially-owned by the co-founders of Anytime Fitness with more than 50 franchise territories sold and 16 locations open in Colorado, Minnesota, Texas, Louisiana, North Dakota and Texas.

"John will be actively involved in analyzing, evaluating, and improving the operations of both Anytime Fitness and Waxing the City," said Chuck Runyon, Anytime Fitness CEO. "He arrives with deep finance experience in big box and specialty retailing, business development and finance roles in commodity production and trading. Pindred joins Anytime Fitness after serving as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Administrative Officer for Family Christian, a national specialty retail chain.

Last year, he was named Middle Market CFO of the Year in Western Michigan.
