Applied Software Achieves Autodesk Platinum Status, Autodesk's Highest Tier for VARs
Company Recognized for Industry Expertise, Service Excellence and Customer Satisfaction
ATLANTA, Aug. 30, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Applied Software, a leading Building Information Modeling (BIM) services provider as well as a provider of Autodesk 2D and 3D CAD products and services, today announced its designation as an Autodesk Platinum Tier Value-Added Reseller (VAR). Platinum Tier partners comprise the highest level of the Autodesk VAR program and incorporate Autodesk software solutions along with proven and measurable technical expertise in a specific industry or business. Platinum partners provide customers with best-in-class solutions that include pre- and post-sales support, consulting, training, implementation and customization.
Applied Software works closely with Autodesk to help customers design, simulate and analyze their ideas, increase operational efficiencies and maximize their return on Autodesk solutions.
"Platinum Tier partners represent the top five percent of all Autodesk VARs, and understand that a healthy business is achieved through the success of their customers," said Callan Carpenter , vice president of Global Services at Autodesk. "Applied Software has raised the bar by developing a deep understanding of its customers' business, pain points and goals. It also has a solid understanding of solution selling and implementation."
To qualify for Autodesk Platinum Tier status, a VAR must demonstrate technical and industry expertise that includes a strong knowledge of customers' business needs in the areas of architecture, engineering, construction, manufacturing, or media and entertainment. Each qualified Platinum Tier partner has shown the ability to meet rigorous sales, personnel and customer satisfaction requirements.
"Achieving Platinum Tier status is an honor, as well as a recognition of our steadfast commitment to the highest level of expertise with Autodesk solutions," said Richard Burroughs , president, Applied Software. "We look forward to continuing the close partnership that we've built with Autodesk over the past three decades, and passing the knowledge we gain from that association to our customers."
