Paine, based in Madrid, will lead a new group for AppNexus focusing on major global accounts and partnerships. Prior to joining AppNexus, he spent ten years at DoubleClick/Google where was most recently Global Agency Business Leader. Before that, he was Head of Media Buying Solutions, UK. Paine began his career at DoubleClick in 2003, becoming Vice President of DART Search before joining Google in 2007 when DoubleClick was acquired.
Underhill, based in London, will be responsible for the company's Client Services and Business Operations for AppNexus across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. Previously, he was Global Commercial Director and Director of Product & Operations at London-based Phorm. He also served as COO and Head of Product & Operations, Europe for Advertising.com/AOL. Prior to joining Advertising.com, Underhill spent eight years at Capital One where he managed businesses in the UK, Europe, and South Africa.
