BRUSSELS, April 28, 2016 /PRNewswire/ --
AppTweak, European leader in App Store Optimization (ASO), today launches a new version of its ASO platform and unveils a brand-new multilingual keyword tool. The company, which closed a $500k round of funding last November, seeks to assert itself as one of the most powerful ASO tool, dedicated to empower app developers to improve their store discoverability and app visibility globally. AppTweak has dedicated its recent efforts to the improvement of its keyword tool making it more powerful and offering a unique Search Volume estimation.
Keywords Search Volume has always been very controversial, as many ASO tools fight to provide with accurate estimations, but fail in most cases. However, AppTweak's new formula includes a higher number of parameters (all weighted differently) to estimate the popularity of a keyword, which enables to get closer to a precise indication. "We have worked hard to come up with the best volume estimation possible" says Olivier Verdin, AppTweak co-founder. "We've decided to be totally transparent by revealing the parameters we use in the algorithm: the recurrence of the keyword in app titles, descriptions and reviews from all apps; the level of popularity/usage of the keyword in the language; the exact mobile web volume; hints provided by Apple; the amount of keywords combined in key phrases and the keyword's length."
AppTweak identity circles around its unique automated and personalized ASO reports, scanning through any app's ASO score and providing actionable insights and recommendations to improve app store visibility. "Our reports are perfect to audit and monitor app store performance but we wanted to enable our users to actually work on AppTweak, without the need to open an Excel sheet or a character counter." says Olivier.
Indeed, the new keyword tool includes a section entirely dedicated to the simulation of the final keywords selection, after the keywords research, with a character counter for the app title, the iTunes keyword field and the Google Play short and long descriptions, but also giving the global KEI (Keyword Efficiency Index) of the selected keywords combined all together.
The company also wanted to offer more keywords suggestions (currently available in 7 languages: English, French, Dutch, Spanish, German, Portuguese and Italian, the newcomer), which are provided to help users find inspiration and interesting keywords they would not have thought of. These suggestions have been built upon multiple sources such as most recurrent keywords in the reviews; app store hints and trending searches in each country.
"With the increasing importance of localization in ASO, AppTweak has focused on delivering a reliable multilingual keyword tool using native keywords rather than automatic translation" says Olivier Verdin, AppTweak co-founder.
