STOCKHOLM, February 6, 2013 /PRNewswire/ --

Aptilo Networks, the leading provider of mobile data offloading solutions, announced today that the company has secured a third mobile operator customer in Taiwan for its Wi-Fi offload solution. This time the mobile operator has deployed Aptilo Networks' Aptilo SIM Authentication Server™ to ensure a seamless and automatic login experience for users of their existing Wi-Fi network.

Aptilo is also providing carrier-class Wi-Fi offloading solutions to two of the country's leading Tier-1 mobile operators.  This third contract further expands Aptilo's Wi-Fi offloading business in the Taiwanese market.

Aptilo's SIM Authentication Server is highly scalable and optimized to deliver an automatic, secure and seamless mobile data offload experience. With the Aptilo SIM Authentication Server, users enjoy an "invisible" and uninterrupted handoff when moving from the 3G network to Wi-Fi. It maximizes security by authenticating users via the SIM card in their mobile device.  In this manner the Wi-Fi network becomes as secure as the mobile network.

Aptilo SIM Authentication Server is part of Aptilo's Wi-Fi offload solution recently named "Best Mobile Offload Solution for Enhancing Customer Experience" in the Broadband Traffic Management Awards for the second year in a row.

"We are proud to have been selected by three of the mobile operators in Taiwan to provide carrier-class Wi-Fi offload solutions," said Johan Terve, VP Marketing, Aptilo Networks. "Given its large penetration of Wi-Fi-enabled devices, Taiwan is an early mover in the wireless industry. We are looking forward to a strong year at Aptilo, with a large pipeline of opportunities and a solution now verified globally including in the demanding Taiwanese market."
