APTwater's ARoTech Biological Water Treatment Receives NSF Certification
Hydrogen-Fed Biological Processes to Reduce Oxidized Contaminants
LONG BEACH, Calif., Feb. 22, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- APTwater's (www.aptwater.com) ARoTech Module is now NSF certified. The Module is used in APTwater's ARoTech product line to treat oxidized contaminants including nitrate, perchlorate, selenium, and chromium (VI).
According to its website, as an independent, not-for-profit organization, the NSF's ongoing public health commitment is to encourage everyone to live safer. APTwater COO Peter Bokor commented, "The NSF certification is a significant milestone, and further distinguishes our technology from the competition. Our clients are looking at the bigger picture, and the NSF certification reinforces ARoTech as the safest, most forward-looking and reliable treatment on the market."
In addition to the NSF certification the first full-scale commercial ARoNite plant finished construction in late 2011, and is now running in conjunction with California Department of Public Health approval testing in Rancho Cucamonga, CA.
