PHILADELPHIA, April 1, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- ARAMARK Sports and Entertainment, a leading provider of hospitality services at over 150 premier sports and entertainment venues throughout North America, today announced sports and entertainment industry veteran Gary Jacobus has joined the company as Vice President, Head of Business Development.

Jacobus brings more than 20 years of industry experience and expertise to his new position, including senior level corporate partnership and marketing positions with the National Football League, National Basketball Association, IMG and United States Tennis Association. He has spearheaded some of the largest, most comprehensive national marketing partnerships in the sports industry driving over $500 million of revenue to leagues and teams. In addition, Jacobus previously co-founded a chain of fast-casual restaurants that currently has 12 units operating and 75 more under development with franchisees across the country.

Jacobus earned his MBA from The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College and his bachelor's degree in marketing from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. He is a past winner of SportsBusiness Journal's "Forty Under 40" Award and serves on the board of advisors of the James H. Warsaw Sports Marketing Center at the University of Oregon.
