Arbitron Inc. Announces Quarterly Cash Dividend

COLUMBIA, Md., Aug. 29, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Arbitron Inc. (NYSE: ARB) today announced that its Board of Directors has approved the payment of a quarterly cash dividend of $0.10 (ten cents) per common share ($0.40 per share on an annualized basis). The dividend will be paid on or about October 1, 2012 to shareholders of record as of the close of business on September 17, 2012.

As of August 1, 2012, there were approximately 26,128,800 shares outstanding.
