CHICAGO, June 15, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Arc Worldwide received eight awards at the 2017 PRO Awards. Of those eight honors, the agency received gold awards for "Intelligent Point of Sale" for Intel and "Sip Share Win" for Coca-Cola/McDonald's.
"It's always a huge honor to win," said Chris Cancilla, Arc's Chief Creative Officer, "but what I'm most excited about is the diversity and breadth of our work. To be winning across content, digital and cross-channel, as well as more traditional shopper categories, speaks to the total shopping experiences we're creating for our clients."
Arc won three awards in all for the agency's work for Intel. The ambitious "Intelligent Point of Sale" system re-invented the PC shopping experience and was awarded gold for "Best Use of Shopper Marketing" and silver for "Best Digital Campaign." Additionally, Arc's "Conflict Free Retail" received a bronze award in the "Best Campaign on a Budget" category, which highlights outstanding campaigns of $250,000 or less. Arc's work for Intel was also recently recognized at both the 2017 Effie and Reggie awards.
The Coca-Cola/McDonald's campaign "Sip Share Win" received a gold award in the "Best Use of Content Marketing" category and a silver in the "Best Cross-Channel Engagement" category. The program transformed the act of ordering a Coke into an interactive music experience. Notably, the campaign featured James Corden and Selena Gomez hitting the drive thru in the first-ever Carpool Karaoke-branded product integration. "Sip Share Win" was also recently honored at the Effie awards.
In all, the agency received two gold awards, two silver awards and four bronze awards over the course of the night, turning eight of its nine finalists into PRO Award-winners. Winning campaigns also included work for MillerCoors, Philadelphia Cream Cheese and Bridgestone.
Arc has been a steady growth engine for Leo Burnett Group in recent years, as marketers' demands for innovative shopper solutions have increased both online and in-store. Responding to these client needs and the agency's growing capabilities, last month Arc announced seven new executive appointments to its leadership team, as well as new offices in New York City and Northwest Arkansas. Arc's client roster includes Procter & Gamble, MillerCoors, Intel, Bridgestone, Kraft-Heinz, Alcon, Coca-Cola and Walmart.
Now in its 27th year, the PRO Awards, presented by Chief Marketer, is the world's leading recognition program for excellence in brand activation and promotion marketing. The PRO Award-winning campaigns are chosen from a panel of 30 leading brand-side marketers from over 1,000 global entries.
