Arizona to Experience More 'Magic, Mystery and Oooh La La'
PHOENIX, Sept. 6, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Carnival of Illusion, a Vaudeville-inspired, up-close illusion act, is preparing to kick off its ninth season in the Phoenix metro area and Tucson. This season, they will be celebrating their 500th performance as the longest running Arizona Theater Show.
Founded by Susan Eyed and Roland Sarlot, the Carnival of Illusion is reminiscent of times when the wealthy hosted entertainers in their parlors. Venues are generally relatively small to replicate this intimate atmosphere and include the Arizona Biltmore Resort, Mesa Arts Center, Tempe Center for the Arts and the Scottish Rite Grand Parlour in Tucson.
The season starts Sept. 24 and 30 with a pair of preview shows for longtime Carnival of Illusion fans. The Sept. 24 show is sold out, but the Sept. 30 show at the Arizona Biltmore still has seats available. Ticket prices are reduced for these preview shows.
Carnival of Illusion performs select Saturdays in one of their boutique theaters throughout Phoenix and Tucson through May. Check the performance schedule at carnivalofillusion.com/subscribe for details. There, you may also sign up for the Carnival of Illusion newsletter, view Frequently Asked Questions and find out more about this unique brand of magical entertainment.
Although there is no "blue material", the 100-minute shows are geared toward adults. Carnival of Illusion, made up entirely of award-winning performers Sarlot and Eyed, also tailors its shows for corporate groups, special events and more.
Individual tickets start at $35, at carnivalofillusion.com/tickets/.

Carnival of Illusion was founded with the goal of creating magical evenings that audiences will remember for a lifetime. Founded in Tucson, it has expanded to include the Phoenix metro area. A portion of all ticket sales go to local nonprofits.
