This year, more than 20,000 runners will look to Arrowhead for hydration as they race from the "Stadium to the Sea" and push themselves to cross the finish line.
Josh Cox will join Arrowhead at the 2013 NutriBullet Health & Fitness Expo from March 15-16 at the Los Angeles Convention Center in Los Angeles, Calif. Cox, the American record holder in the 50K, four-time U.S. Olympic Trials qualifier and three-time U.S. National Team member, will be at the Arrowhead Brand booth sharing his hydration tips and expert training advice. Specifically, he will help motivate this year's runners, inspire them with his personal stories and provide tips for how to perform at their best from training, to race day, through recovery. Cox will also invite runners to consider their own personal stories by encouraging participants at the Expo to share their stories on running bibs at the Arrowhead Brand booth, to serve as inspiration for Sunday's race.
As a professional athlete and full-time runner, Cox knows all about the necessity of consistent hydration as a critical part of training for any physically demanding activity. "Hydration is essential to all athletes, especially those who are striving to perform at their best. Arrowhead is an important part of my workout routine when I'm running in California," says Cox. Arrowhead Brand 100% Mountain Spring Water, sourced from carefully selected mountain springs, has supported various running events for more than 12 years, and is now excited to be the official bottled water sponsor of the upcoming ASICS LA Marathon on Sunday, March 17, where the brand will supply water at both the start and finish lines.
