Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. Acquires 78.5% Interest in Insurance Dialogue Limited

ITASCA, Ill., May 8, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. (NYSE:  AJG) today announced that it has acquired a 78.5% interest in Insurance Dialogue Limited of Bournemouth, England.   Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Insurance Dialogue Limited (IDL), trading under the brand Insure4Retirement, is a retail insurance broker providing personal lines insurance for their clients primarily in the U.K. that are over 50 years of age.  IDL specializes in a full spectrum of personal insurance coverage within the homeowner and automobile markets.  Managing Director, David Holden and his colleagues will continue to operate out of their current location under the direction of David Ross , CEO of Gallagher's London-based international brokerage operation.
